Battlefield 3 getting in-game squad management after all

Battlefield players were quite upset over news that Battlefield 3 squad management was moved to Battlelog, forcing players to switch between the game and Battlelog in order to manage squads.

Luckily however, there are now some good news: DICE’s Barrie Tingle has posted on the Battlelog forums where he revealed that squad management will be available in-game in Battlefield 3. Tingle said, in an answer to a question regarding squads:

“In short answer form, yes you can browse and join squads through the squad screen and make private squads.”

Battlefield 3 is seriously “missing” the point here. After playing the open beta for a couple of days it was clear someone had lost the plot with the squad management system. First thoughts were . "Great we have our own social network .... Woo HOoo second thought were ... WTF is going on here ... can't play single player offline can't make personal squads, sure the party function is there but to be honest none of squadbio could get it to function correctly !! "How many players in a squad " ?

As a squad we have been involved in many beta events and like to think we look at these constructively with our criticism, but o the heat on teamspeak after a couple of hours of play was on fire. Our biggest focus was on the game play which was extremely dulled down because of the inability to create squads like we could in battlefield 2, why mess up or completely ignore a system that works, the squad create function in battlefield 2 was the ultimate, easy to manage and use for both leader and squaddie. Battlefield 3's squad system was likened to a blind man trying to win an arse kicking contest. Another of the things that came up was the settings menu ... Pffft lets not go there !!

One massive issue was the amount of squad members in a squad... 4 Doesn't cut it were going to playing on 64 player servers right ? Also feedback posted on the battlelog forums, obviously Dice - EA didn't like that they heard so they decided to come up with a system reset on the forum and wipe out all the feedback that was given .... Grow Some Balls you lot FFS. You made something bad your customers told you so ... Don't try and hide it with an excuse that a moderator needs to make stickys hahahahahaa. EA Forums, Battlefield fans are not too happy deal with it.. What’s next, go to Battlelog to change your kit?
